About: A seemingly simple pose, yet it communicates different things. She’s both closed in posture, yet receptive in her expression. My model is undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. We’re doing a series of sessions that track her experiences. She’s wearing a wig because she is now bald. She doesn’t hid her baldness, the wig just gives her another form of expression.
