ABOUT: In Greek mythology, Hermes is the messenger for the gods. Hermes protects travelers, thieves, merchants, and orators. Later, Hermes became Mercury for the Romans. My Hermes is a little harried looking, maybe because carrying the message is more fraught with challenges these days.
