ABOUT: In my personal quest to understand America, I’ve endeavored to appreciate the contradictions, complexities, strengths and dark side of the place in which I live. I believe we can separate the grand culture of America from the politics of America. Though politics reflect this country, it is also a small part of something that is much grander, complex, diverse, and difficult to grasp. Politics is less nuanced. There is a self-destructiveness to the American political system, especially the phase we’re living through. I attempt to convey this here.
