Two Bowls
ABOUT: My model arrived for our session with 2 wooden bowls. She already has a pose in mind, and imagined the vessels as those illustrated in Tarot cards where water flows endlessly between each. I respond to the hollow, empty spaces of the bowls balanced against the wonderful solidness and strength of her body. It was a challenging pose to maintain, yet Carly has the power and focus to do it.
DIMENSIONS: 33”H x 26.5”W (framed)
MEDIUM: charcoal and pastel on paper
Do No Evil
ABOUT: There’s a slight kinky tone to my version of Do, See, Speak, and Hear No Evil. Traditional themes are always open to revision.
DIMENSIONS: 12”H x 16”W
