ABOUT: The Garden of Eden is such a rich theme and open to a multiplicity of interpretation. Here is the awakening of Eve, with lust, temptation, desire, some innuendo, and a final expulsion. There is a suggested narrative, though it is not linear, and much is left to the viewer to create his/her understanding of the painting. The different panels and images play off each other, each contributing to the whole.

ABOUT: In each studio session, I respond to the temperament, personality, and vibe of the model. I encourage him/her to bring items that express their interests, values, and identity. The boots, the collar, and the dagger are very her. She has a cool, tough, hip street look, though is very ‘tender.’
