DESCRIPTION: I’ve been working with this model for years. She’s a beautiful person in the full meaning of the word. I’ve drawn and painted her many times, and occasionally, like here, have done a simple portrait drawing.

ABOUT: We worked the poses together to find positions that communicated the experiences of my model. These were not necessarily his bedroom practices, but what he felt in his personal life and relationships. His background in theater is evident. A very expressive, and uninhibited model. Thank you!

ABOUT: Near the end of our session, I proposed the model create poses that most expressed their identity. They chose to put on makeup.The results are pleasing.

ABOUT: She has been one of my regular models for years, and is a sheer pleasure to work with. She has a well-proportioned strong body, and the steady calm of her personality comes through in Morning. The modest-sized drawing was one of a series that suggested a yoga-like morning practice before a rising sun.
