ABOUT: The pose is both explicit and outgoing, and the blindfold makes it closed. I enjoy this interplay. It becomes somewhat voyeuristic, yet the pose is also confrontational. The model’s position is not erotic. She is comfortable in herself and not exposing herself. She’s confident. The blindfold, though, creates a lot of vulnerability. Does she choose, or accept to be blindfolded? Or is she forced?

ABOUT: In Greek mythology, Hermaphroditus was a child of Aphrodite and Hermes. He was born a remarkably handsome boy whom the naiad Salmacis attempted to rape and prayed to be united with forever. A god, in answer to her prayer, merged their two forms into one and transformed him into a hermaphrodite, he being considered the origin of the name. Their name is compounded of his parents’ names, Hermes and Aphrodite.
