DESCRIPTION: Part of a small series where I use image and text together. Here the quotes of Lady Macbeth, which continue to resonate strongly today. This is my contemporary interpretation of her quote. I wanted the image to be campy and kitsch.

ABOUT: My model grew up in Texas, so when I suggest she bring anything to the session relevant to her identity, she came with cowboy/cowgirl gear. The pose and title naturally came out of her Texan upbringing.There is something a bit confrontational and self-assured here.

DESCRIPTION: She rests on a circular window sill, and the form suggested a moon. Hence the title. I love the relaxed, lounging pose. She’s so at ease with herself.
