DESCRIPTION: Part of a small series where I use image and text together. Here the quotes of Lady Macbeth, which continue to resonate strongly today. This is my contemporary interpretation of her quote. I wanted the image to be campy and kitsch.

ABOUT: I very much like model to be herself, and bring to a session anything that expresses her interests and identity. She’s an avid skater. Strongly so. Her pose communicates her being so much in charge of herself, being confident and assured about what she is and does with her life. That is attractive.

ABOUT: The title plus the image create the content. This came from a session where we planned for potentially erotic, or provocative, poses. We both wanted poses to communicate a positive tone, which BDSM acts acts are regarded as means to liberation, a letting down of inhibitions. I wanted to painting to communicate simplicity and directness.

DESCRIPTION: The title refers to the forward bend pose, the folds in the fabric, and the folds of flesh. Very pinup-like, yet still a sexy pose. The drawing turned out well, I think.
