ABOUT: From a series titled Scenes from a Marriage which highlighted the dynamics of relationships, did some drawings on sheet music. The title of the music, the lyrics, and the overall design interacts with the drawing to create an enhanced meaning. These were so fun to create.

ABOUT: Capitalize on the inherent qualities of a model. This person has a quiet classicism, so I encouraged her to form these kinds of poses. The drawing references traditional styles and poses for art history.

ABOUT: Ours is a time of almost immediate gratification. Our senses and desires are easily fulfilled through accessible media and speedy services. Our material needs and wants are rapidly delivered. Of course, there is a burden that comes with this, especially to the environment. Maybe we’re also loosing that ability to delay gratification, to wait for something that may be more fulfilling, something more lasting that a material object.
